A drummer on a MIDI cable.
Everything the sequencer does travels with the notes.
MIDI-only mode
Drummer-1 writes and sends notes without playing its own samples.
MIDI out per lane
Each of up to 12 lanes sends its own MIDI, so every part reaches the right pad or instrument.
MIDI clock
MIDI clock support for working alongside other gear.
Export MIDI
Export patterns as MIDI files or drag them into the DAW to edit in the piano roll. (Unlocks when you buy.)
Same depth as audio
Velocity, offsets, ratchets, probability and conditions all travel with the notes.
Follows your DAW
Locks to your DAW’s playhead, not just Play and Stop. Start anywhere in the song and your gear gets the same notes the bounce would.
How to route it.
1
Load Drummer-1 on an instrument track.
VST3 or AU on macOS.
2
Switch on MIDI-only mode.
Drummer-1 stops playing its own samples and sends notes instead.
3
Route its MIDI out.
In your DAW, send Drummer-1’s MIDI output to a drum plugin, a sampler or a MIDI port for hardware. Hosts handle plugin MIDI output differently; see the DAW notes.
4
Generate and shape.
Everything you do in the sequencer now plays your own sounds.
Free MIDI grooves for your drum machine
A free pack of MIDI drum grooves made with Drummer-1. Drop them into any DAW and play them with your own drums.
Hear it in your own session.
Seven days, once per computer. Every sound, every lane and Generate work in the trial, with 6 of the 56 presets, and you can export MIDI. Audio export, your own samples and saving to the Library unlock when you buy.
