Getting Started

System Requirements

  • • macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
  • • Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel Core i5 or better
  • • 8GB RAM minimum
  • • 2GB available disk space
  • • VST3 or AU compatible DAW

Installation Steps

  1. Download the Drummer-1 installer from your purchase confirmation email
  2. Open the .dmg file and drag Drummer-1 to your Applications folder
  3. Run the installer - it will automatically install VST3 and AU versions
  4. Open your DAW and scan for new plugins
  5. Enter your license key when prompted on first launch

Drummer-1 works with any DAW that supports VST3 or AU formats:

Using Drummer-1

Generating Patterns

  1. Select a Genre Pack from the dropdown menu
  2. Click "Generate" to create a new pattern
  3. Use the transport controls to play/stop the pattern
  4. Adjust tempo using the BPM control or sync to your DAW
  5. Drag the pattern to your DAW timeline or export as MIDI

Creative Controls

  • Dynamics: Adjust velocity curves to control how hard or soft the drums hit
  • Groove: Apply swing and shuffle templates to add human feel
  • Micro-Timing: Fine-tune individual hit timing for subtle variations
  • Pattern Builder: Use Euclidean algorithms to create complex polyrhythms

Loading Custom Samples

Drummer-1 supports loading your own samples:

  1. Click on any drum slot in the sequencer
  2. Drag and drop a WAV, AIFF, or MP3 file onto the slot
  3. Or click "Browse" to select a file from your computer
  4. Adjust sample parameters like pitch, volume, and decay

Troubleshooting

Plugin Not Showing in DAW

  • • Rescan your plugin folder in your DAW's preferences
  • • Verify the plugin is installed in the correct location
  • • Check that your DAW supports VST3 or AU formats
  • • On Apple Silicon, ensure you're running the native version

Audio Issues

  • • Check your DAW's audio output settings
  • • Ensure the plugin track isn't muted or soloed
  • • Verify buffer size settings (try 256 or 512 samples)
  • • Restart your DAW if issues persist

License Activation

  • • Ensure you're connected to the internet during activation
  • • Copy the license key exactly as it appears in your email
  • • If you've reached your activation limit, contact support
