Installation
Download, install, and activate Drummer-1 on your Mac.
System Requirements
- macOS 10.13+ (Intel) or macOS 11+ (Apple Silicon)
- Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) or Intel Core i5+
- 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
- 100 MB disk space (~50 MB installed)
- VST3 or AU compatible DAW
Drummer-1 is a Universal Binary with native support for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Signed and notarized by Apple.

After purchasing Drummer-1, you'll receive an email with your license key and a link to download the installer.
Can't find your email? Check your spam or junk folder. Some email providers may filter emails from new senders.
Installation Steps

Open the installer
Double-click the downloaded
Drummer-1.pkgfile to launch the installer. -

Follow the prompts
Click through the installation wizard. The installer will automatically place VST3 and AU versions in the correct system folders.

Scan for plugins in your DAW
Open your DAW and run a plugin rescan. The location varies by DAW—check your DAW's preferences or plugin manager.

Activate with your license key
When you first load Drummer-1, you'll be prompted to enter your license key. Paste the key from your purchase confirmation email.

Troubleshooting
Plugin not showing in DAW
- • Rescan your plugin folder in your DAW's preferences
- • Verify the plugin exists in the locations listed above
- • On Apple Silicon, ensure your DAW is running natively (not via Rosetta)
- • Restart your DAW after installation
License activation fails
- • Ensure you're connected to the internet
- • Copy the license key exactly (no extra spaces)
- • Check that you haven't exceeded your 3-device limit
- • Contact info@drummer-1.com if issues persist
Packs not showing
Verify packs are in ~/Library/DrummerOne/Packs/. Each pack must have a valid pack.json file. Restart the plugin after adding new packs.
